Rejuvenation

Hello World!

I took these pictures from one of the best resorts I've ever had the pleasure to stay, the Riu Palace Guanacaste in Liberia, Costa, Rica. The pictures does not do the resort justice and because I am attempting to get this up as quick as possible I just decided on a few images. I hope you enjoy them because I could not wait to share with you.

This stay was a vacation stay and also birthday celebration with someone dear to me.  And I am appreciative for the invitation.  I can not say enough of the great staff, beautiful views, award worthy food, friendly guests and of course great company.  Everything was perfect and I can not be thankful enough for the experience.  However, now it's back to work.  Well, at least until I my dreams become my dream job.  At that point everyday will be a vacation in my mind at least.

Of course I always like to walk away from every experience better so there are a couple takeaways from this trip though that I hope helps you as well:

1.  Be good to yourself.  Don't burn out.  Every chance you get to treat yourself - DO IT!!!  Until I took this vacation I was on the verge of a breakdown.  Ummm yeah...a-have-to-take-a-mental-health-day breakdown.  I was at my wits end with every thing so I decided I needed to pacify myself with little things until I could make a vacation happen.  I took mini trips to nearby cities, nature walks, nature drives, consumed books like water, you name it.  I did everything I could to escape the sometimes very taxing and frustrating days of.  And I think I'm better for it.  However, I will NEVER deprive myself of a vacation for so long AGAIN!

2.  Every day is a gift.  During the vacation, as we went into the city, I loved the slow pace and seemingly carefree attitude from the individuals living there.  The natives were happy and relaxed  I realized that sometimes we can get so caught up in our situations that we don't stop and pay attention to what's going on around us.  I mean, if you're reading this that's a gift of life.  Also if you're reading this that's a gift of being able to read and the sight. You see where I'm getting at?  Of course you do.

3.  Work harder becoming a Dream Catcher.  I realized how complacent we as a society can be with the routine of life that we can let our dreams literally pass us by.  I realized I personally need to work harder so that I am able to experience more out of life.  And that the work does not necessarily rules out working smarter instead.  I have been sitting on dreams for too long for the sake of career advancement in a field that now I'm not sure I want any longer.  So I've dusted off my Dream Catcher and I've made up my mind that I'm putting all that I have into my dreams. So hang in there with me and let's take this journey together.

Well, that's all for now my lovelies.

Until next time,

Curly Girl
